I have always considered myself a pretty organized buy. Now I am in that stage of life where organization is being taken to the next level. With the arrival of my daughter you have to think of the future- her education, her life needs, etc. So I have been scanning the internet looking for examples of things for completing my advanced healthcare directive, my living will, working on my life insurance, making sure my retirement is in order, etc.... It seems like getting organized is much harder than what it seems. I know those I have chosen to make these decisions for me will protect my dignity, will look after my needs and wants. 
I just want to make those decisions as easy for them as I can. I have never been in the "decision making seat" but have been in healthcare and have had past experiences with those who have and those professionals whose whole focus is just that.... managing advanced directives, etc. It is amazing to me the amount of data one can include in what you would begin to think was a simple document to create. I guess I have many prayers and much reading to do before I sign on the dotted line.
